Urban Options was brought into this project once the site layout had been established and provided advice on various planning processes. Initially, the work revolved around interpreting Urban Guidelines, Zoning regulations, and other bylaws as they were triggered by the project. Once application (Rezoning, Development Variance Permit, Development Permit and Site consolidation) were made the focus shifted to consultation and presentations with stakeholders and other public agencies. In the final stages, all recommendations were addressed with a last presentation to Council for final approvals. All approvals and processes were completed within and Urban Options were engaged to co-ordinate the building permit.
